Bratwurst Roeslein in Nuremberg

The sausage was really delicious. Until now, Korean sausage wasn't a sausage.. Even though I went two years ago, I will definitely go to eat again after the coronavirus.

Very tasty food, cozy atmosphere and the prices reasonable for the quality. The food was also very quick to the table! There is also a nice little children's play area. For 5 people you should easily plan 80-100 euros without a starter. Just so you all have a rough idea.

I had already looked around Nuremberg to find something to eat and then found this restaurant and read the menu .. and found it very interesting .. 'and then went to eat there too .. the restaurant is really huge and very comfortably furnished in a rustic style .. unfortunately I wasn't really enthusiastic about the food .. too little on the plate and a bit too expensive .. but it was delicious .. maybe I'm a little too spoiled, but I found it a bit too expensive in terms of price-performance ratio. But see for yourself .. and enjoy your meal ..

Located in the middle of the old town, rustic and bourgeois, as you would imagine. Due to the size of the taprooms, the restaurant is reminiscent of a brewery. Very friendly staff who tried to find a place for us in an adjoining room on a public holiday. Franconian dishes with a large selection. good beer and pleasant atmosphere.

The staff is super friendly and warm! The food itself was really tasty, but there were a few shortcomings. The bread wasn't as screaming as the sauce in the dumpling. The Kaiserschmarren Kessel portion is a whole meal! The ambience is classic (:

Went for dinner which was really nice. It’s a big place. Lots of seating outside the front and it’s big inside too. Our waiter was friendly and the service was good. I had one of the weekly specials, Rösleins Schmankerl (turkey schnitzel with ham and Bavarian cheese) which I swapped the salads for fries. It was really good and full of flavour. My wife had Der Klassiker (6 Nürnberger sausages with Fasskraut/ cabbage) which she also really enjoyed. All was moderately priced. The beers and wine went down well and I can imagine when things are normal the atmosphere inside would be great. They take credit cards too.

Unexpectedly good, although expensive

Side dishes were unfortunately only covered with a potato salad, beetroot and large leaf salad. Absolutely did not go with the carp fillet which was OK. The food used to be a lot better.

Very good food and portion size. Good organization. Fast and friendly service. However, quite close and very well attended. So it's a bit louder.

This is a destination restaurant. I mean, it is very well known. This is a very traditional German restaurant. Try the Kaiserschmarm! I used OpenTable to reserve the table, but he front desk person did not seem to be familiar with the system.

Staff were not friendly at all. Only two baby highchairs are available, which is not enough when the Biergarten is busy. Had a long wait for the bill. Food is okay.

Tasty food but very crowded

We are usually very satisfied here. But today it was nothing. The corona-related lead to the table was still okay. But then nothing more happened. After 15 minutes we said that we would like to order - colleague is coming soon! But colleague didn't come. That's what we went for. By the way, it wasn't full. It's a shame.

Anyone in Nuremberg should go to the Röslein! The outside area is in a back yard. The staff is friendly and the menu is clear. The Nürnberger were great in terms of taste😊. The price-performance ratio is okay. The sanitary area could be cleaner.

The place was super packed and seemed like they needed more people at the restaurant, besides that the person who served my food was super nice and brought my dish super fast. They took a while to sit me down though. Coming into the good part, the food was amazing, the taste, the amount of grease and that little greasy crunchy part of the Schaufele you can expect, was present. 10 points for it. Maybe would be good to be a bit more friendly.

Food is okay, classic and beautiful building. You see in the quality though that is for the masses and tourists - I only go there when I have visitors who are not from the area. And even then I prefer other locations. For what it is it is good though.

It's been a long time since I was so impressed by an inn, and it has never happened before that a dish was cold on the table. The selection of drinks also leaves nothing to be desired. The location is really easy to get to! The good transport connections mean that a meal trip can be made in no time at all. In the restaurant you can get both: friendly and lively waiter.

If you want to get to know Franconian cuisine, you can't really go wrong here. We received a friendly welcome, advised and served. The waitress could have shown up a little more often, but that is whining at the highest level. For "foreigners" like us, the prices are absolutely fair, spoiled Francs may perceive the prices as high. The ambience and flair of Nuremberg are definitely worth it.

Traditional restaurant in the city center with a large hall and beer garden area. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Typical Franconian cuisine with many Nuremberg specialties. Food very tasty and large portions. Price / performance ratio is absolutely okay. 👍👍 You can pay in cash or by card. 💶 💳

it's OK but nothing special the food isn't so great but it's not horrible but for the taste maybe a bit pricey. the beer selection is mediocre too

Very nice German food. Service not very good.

Service average, the sausages taste like they come from the factory and my pork knuckle was in the oven for at least 5 hours. Totally overcooked, hard and dry. It's a shame, the quality used to be much better at Behringer. The place is still very nice. I won't be back anytime soon. At most to test whether they really don't have it anymore. The location deserves more and I think the team can do that too if they want

Good food and beer and friendly staff.

Overpriced, food was mediocre, strong smell of cabbage in the restaurant due to poor ventilation. A vegetarian potato(!!) dish for €13,6 is a fair example of an overpriced dish. And the pork dish that we ordered was way too dry. Eating sausages with bread rolls from local kiosks is less disappointing. Seriously 👌

A great restaurant! We were kindly assigned to the seat and served very nicely. We enjoyed the best quality beer and Schäuferl and it tasted very good. And you can also look over the shoulder of the kitchen staff. When we're back in Nuremberg, we'll be happy to come back!

The food is okay but the service is really bad. No smiles. No thank you. The waiter literally rolled his eyes. When trying to get the check, he wouldn't even acknowledge us! Never again!

Food was good, but service not so much. Mixed up orders, waiting 30 minutes for bill despite asking three different members of staff for couple of times. .. which would be understandable if the pub was busy, but it was not. In a nutshell, good schnitzel, beer and wursts, but next time would go elsewhere.

Nice atmosphere! Friendly staff! We ordered Wurst with sauerkraut and potato side. Everything was delicious just the wursts were a bit salty! Good house-wine too!

This restaurant is my "must to go" in Nürnberg. and "must to eat" there is Rostbratwurst with sauerkraut, Local call it " Drei in a weckla". I had a City trip first, 9€ 40min. including a free coffee at Röslein. Enjoy Sunshine with coffee after a very delicious meal😁

There is nothing to complain about this place. Food was not only food, but above all an experience. The pub as such is beautiful and the icing on the cake was the staff, who was professional on the one hand and nice, friendly and funny on the other. Thank you for being with you and I wish you all the best! P.S. The waiter was probably Stefan, however, it was not completely recognizable under the guise :)

I ordered the sausages and the pork shoulder here. The pork shoulder was cooked wonderfully, the sausages however are very average, unlike bratwursthausle their sausages arnt made on charcoal and there is a big difference in their taste at this restaurant. The staff is very good, the pig shoulder was excellent, however Nuremberg is known for their sausages, which are way better at the bratwursthausle(their restaurants however have very weird rules about take out food)... overall you should come here for the pork shoulders, and go for sausages to the bratwursthausle

Good German restaurant

It's old and famous, so I've been there, but it's very wide. The amount of sausage was small and salty, but there was no objection to eating beer. The server was friendly and there was no racism. It was a good place to remember, but I was surprised when I read my first review today. I was lucky.
